25 Apr Exhibitions planned for 2019
Plans are well advanced for two exhibitions to be held in St Mary’s Church Bungay in 2019
The 2019 Spring Exhibition will coincide with the bicentenary of Queen Victoria’s birth and will feature aspects of Victorian Bungay including education, transport, sport, buildings, industry, churches including All Hallows Convent and St Edmund’s Church.
Preview Evening: Friday 24th May 2019 7.30 pm
Exhibition opens Saturday 25th May 2019 at 9.00 am
BUNGAY EXHIBITION COMMITTEE
is planning to present in St. Mary’s Church, Bungay
VICTORIAN BUNGAY AND AREA
FRIDAY May 24th 2019 (200 years from the birth of Queen Victoria)
PREVIEW EVENING with SPEAKER (as Queen Victoria)
AND RECEPTION, at 7.30pm
(No admission fee but places should be booked in advance)
OPEN EACH DAY THEREAFTER UNTIL SUNDAY June 2nd.
10.00am until 4.00pm, ENTRANCE FREE
Exhibition comprising many photographs from the museum,
featuring businesses, sport, school and town events.
Plus Embroideries, Textiles, Farm Equipment, Toys,
Clothes, Music, and Architecture.
Profiles of local Victorian Characters, and Rural Myths
DONATIONS WELCOME FOR EXPENSES, FUTURE FUNDING AND LOCAL CHARITIES
